What Does a Thermal Insulation Pad Do?
The insulation pad is an important component in full premix condensing boiler systems, positioned between the burner and the heat exchanger. It helps seal combustion gases, reduce heat transfer to surrounding parts, and protect the boiler structure from excessive thermal stress. In addition, the insulation pad absorbs vibration and supports stable mechanical contact during long term operation.
Using a correctly fitted insulation pad helps prevent gas leakage, overheating, and premature component failure while maintaining safe and efficient boiler performance.
